Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic/EMT

 The Northern Union County Fire and EMS District will be accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic/EMT. NUCFD responds on an average of 800 calls for service year. Our district is 73.9 square miles and has a population of 4700 and growing.

Pay:     Firefighter/EMT: $18.00/hr

            Firefighter/Paramedic: $20.00/hr

Applicants must possess the following:

1. Valid Ohio Driver’s License
2. Minimum of a valid Ohio EMT-Basic Certification (Paramedic Preferred)
3. Valid CPR Card
4. Minimum of a valid Ohio Firefighter I Certification (Firefighter II Preferred)

Successful candidates will be required to:

1. Successfully pass a basic Firefighter/EMT knowledge exam
2. Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening examination and physical
3. Successfully pass a criminal background check
4. Have the ability to be insured by the Districts insurance provider
